“The role of an Author is not to say what we can say but what we are unable to say.” -Anäis Nin

Hello, welcome to my blog. My name is Carra and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer here.

First, I would like to share a little about why I decided to make a blog. You could say that this all started years ago, when I was in the fifth grade. I began to realize that I enjoyed writing and my teacher, Mrs. Yates, as well as my family,  encouraged me to pursue this desire. Mrs. Yates even entered my work into a writing competition. I didn’t win but it did boost my confidence. From that moment on, I started working more on my writing and saw that it was getting better (I’m no JK Rowling but I hope to be a published author one day in the near future).

Fast forward a couple of years later, one of my friends, Michaela, had talked about blogging and I was intrigued. I thought that it would be a perfect place to start my writing career. I knew about other blogging websites but I wanted something new. I opened an account here in 2013 and was so excited to start. Of course, reality set in and things here didn’t get done. I went on a mission for my church (which you can read about here) and had no one to keep up with my blog. But alas, here I am, trying to make my mark on the world and give you what I have learned. Please feel free to comment on anything at anytime, I love hearing from you. If there’s anything you would like to know more about, I can definitely find it for you and michaela.jpgmake a post, I will even dedicate it to you!

To give you a little bit more background on the people you will hear about throughout my posts, I will talk about them and why they are so important in my life. Michaela is my best friend of almost 12 years. We have gone through so much together and, honestly, I’m not sure how I’d be able to handle life without her. She is a strong woman and she has definitely put up with her fair share of hardships but she just keeps on going. She is one of the most important rocks in my life. She is a mother one a little girl, who she calls Owlet in her blog. She is two years old and is definitely her mother’s daughter. Of course, she has a mix of both parents but when I visit with them, I can always see Michaela in her.

Lastly, I want to thank you for making this possible. Without you, the reader, I would not have any point to posting anything.

Please use the tabs above to navigate through my blog to the various content that I have available, there’s truly something for everyone. Also, feel free to comment on content that you would like to see more of.
