Hello friends and family, I’d like to start with a little “tip” from the mission office concerning packages:
Christmastime will soon be upon us! To insure that YOUR Christmas gifts reach YOU on time, please remind your family and friends to send packages by Dec. 1, through the US Postal Service. Pack-ages need to be sent Priority Mail–NOT Express mail! Packages sent via FED-EX or UPS cannot be forwarded, and will sit at the office until someone can hand deliver them to you. It is also im-portant for friends and family to use your REAL first and last name when they address the packages. It is always our goal here in the office to get your cards, letters and packages to you as quickly as possible! We love you!
So, there you have it. And if anyone wants to send me any food, I have come to love Blue Diamond Almonds, Whole Natural Flavor.
So, this week was great. Interviews went well, I showed president my gratitude journal, he loved it! Speaking of journals…I’m gonna need another journal soon as I write about my mission every day and my regular journal fills up REALLY fast. Last night Sister Gibbons and I lost our phone and we thought it was on the side of the road somewhere so we were looking for it in the dark….we gave up at almost 9pm and drove to our ward mission leader’s house. His wife helped us find it this morning by calling it. It really helped to have sunlight to see. Guess where it was! On the side of the road, just as we thought. Sister Gibbons had jumped out of the car last night to get a dog, we wanted to contact his owners but he ran off, and she must’ve forgot the phone was on her lap.But we have it and it works. All is well. But, we did meet this awesome guy last night and he helped us look for it. Turns out, he’s been to church before and we’re gonna teach him! How exciting!
The Lord works in mysterious ways and I know that GREAT things are about to happen in Lugoff! I love y’all and hope that everyone’s week goes over well.
